Awesome Comic Sunglasses “Sun-Staches”.

10:10:00 PM
Maybe They're Not For Everyday But They're Hella Cool.

 (Harley Quinn)

I read about these "Sun-Staches" on CBR and couldn't help but agree, I'm not sure why the name? haha. They have nothing to do with mustaches which is where my mind immediately wanders with the name. These sunglasses look like they're mainly for style and stunting around which makes me wonder how effective they actually are at blocking the sun.

Anyways, these DC Comics Themed Sunglasses are pretty rad. I'd rock a pair regardless. They're exaggerated and the ideal product for any nerdy/geeky fashionista. The only ones I can really see being worn on the regular perhaps are the Catwoman pair. The rest would be cool for cosplay purposes at Comic Cons or Gamer conventions.

(Batman)

(The Joker)

 (Catwoman)

You can head over HERE and pre-order a pair which are estimated to be released this August 2015 for a very cool $9.99 right now.

Ben Stiller Says There Will Be A 'Zoolander 2' At Paris Fashion Week.

12:31:00 PM
Looks Like 'Blue Steel' is coming back...

Ben Stiller and and Owen Wilson strutted their stuff on the runway at the Maison Valentino show at Paris Fashion Week as Derek Zoolander and Hansel. They officially announced the sequel to their super funny, trippy and of course fashionable comedy 'Zoolander' (2001). Get ready for 'Zoolander 2'.

As a person who has worked many fashion weeks in her life, I've seen many random things go down on runways from performances to motorcycle riding to champagne pouring on fans... I thought this was a very appropriate and cool way to introduce 'Zoolander 2'.

According to a tweet from Paramount Pictures, the film will see release on February 12th, 2016.

So if ya don't know, now you know!

And practice your Blue Steel folks!

Last summer while browsing the Threadless site, I purchased this tee (well the tank top version)

... at no point did I bother to check out who the artist/designer was, because who cares, it's just a nice looking shirt.

Fast-Forward to January, I'm browsing the ArtFido instagram account and I run into this:

Lucha Libre With Manuela Frey For Dazed And Confused.

4:59:00 PM
A hot model posing in a Lucha Libre mask... Don't mind if we do!

Though I'm sure she doesn't have as much street cred as "El Santo" or "Blue Demon" (I kid, I kid) I must say Manuela Frey is looking pretty bad ass in "Wrestle Mania" for Dazed & Confused Spring 2015, photographed by the talented Richard Burbridge.

I'm going to let all you Ladies and gents out there take a breath and recover from the hot, bloody, sexy, detailed images you're about to see.

Anyways, I'm loving these luchador mask. The black, grey and red color combo is sick! Not to mention all the details like the rhinestones, textures and feather lashes. Funny that Jean Paul Gaultier's wrestling name was "El Niño Terrible" (The Terrible Kid) right? I'm glad he went ahead and added this wrestler edge to his fashion story.

Kelly Sue DeConnick 'Captain Marvel' Swag At WeLoveFine.

11:43:00 AM
Hey Y'all

Check out this fresh 'Captain Marvel' swag at WeLoveFine.com. There's some good stuff to pick from here, below are my favorites. The Collection was curated by the awesome writer Kelly Sue DeConnick.

 A tough cookie.

"In honor of Carol Danvers, Helen Cobb, Jessica Drew and all the amazing women of CAPTAIN MARVEL, Kelly Sue DeConnick will donate her curation commission to the Girls' Leadership Institute, to help foster and give voice to the heroines of tomorrow.

Folks want to blame someone for gals like us. “Her daddy was unkind” or “some fella broke her heart”…
Hogwash. You and me’ve always been like this. Always a little removed. Always… Dreaming.
Of higher, further, faster…More. Always more.

We came into this world spittin’ mad, running full bore… To or from what, I ain’t never been able to tell.
Over the years, I’ve come to think of these traits as the shared attributes of a chosen people. The lord put us here to punch holes in the sky.

And when a soul is born with that kind of purpose, it’ll damn sure find a way.

We’re gonna get where we’re going, you and me. Death and indignity be damned. We’ll get there, and we will be the stars we were always meant to be."

— Helen Cobb's letter to Captain Marvel
(Captain Marvel #1)

This"What Would Captain Marvel Do?" tee with the dinosaur is sick! It's my favorite. She looks so bad-ass and ready to take on anything.

Motivation tee right here!

I love the message this gives young girls "Every Little Girl Flies". It's a great gift really. Remember also to encourage your children to start reading at an early age. I think comics are a great route (age appropriate of course). Every little girl has magical powers inside of her she needs to let shine and guess what? Maybe she'll grow up and pursue the comic-book industry and be an awesome writer like Kelly Sue DeConnick ;-)

Dr. Martens And Cartoon Network will release ‘Adventure Time’ Boots in March 2015!

1:10:00 AM
Adventure time, C'mon, grab your friends, We'll go to very distant Lands...

I have always loved Dr. Martens boots. They're like a go-to item in my closet. Every girl should own a pair of their bulky black boots with the yellow lining... they literally go with everything I swear! Imagine my excitement when I learned about Dr. Martens X Adventure Time! It's like a wish come true I didn't even know I was hoping for yet.

It's no secret that Adventure Time is one of the coolest main stream cartoons that Cartoon Network has graced us with in the last few years. All the characters are so lovable and special in their own way... you sympathize with them as strange and funny as that sounds.

Anyway, All of these items below are available for pre-order for both men and women at SOLESTRUCK. The items are available and expected to ship March 31st 2015.

Finn Boot

I like the straps on both the Finn and Jake Dr. Martens X Adventure Time boots. The Jake boot is giving up a fist pump.

My Favorite from the collection is the Finn Boot. Coincidentally, I need to add a white pair of Dr. Martens to my closet (added to wish list).

Which one of the Dr. Martens X Adventure Time boots are you coveting?

Pammy Cakes Boutique Throwback.

1:34:00 PM
A while back I did a photoshoot with Pammy Cakes Boutique. A brand created by a friend of mine Pamela Jackson. The clothing line is inspired by Lolita, Gyaru, Mori, Kawaii, Fairy Kei Fashion and basically Japanese street style.

Below is a photo I dug up from the archives that I posted on instagram today. I'm wearing a very cute "Lolita, Come Out and Play" T-shirt and a pretty ruffled skirt from the collection. I am also channeling my inner Gloomy Bear ;-)

Fun times people, fun times.

Coach X Gary Baseman 2015 Spring Collection Video.

12:18:00 PM
Check out the video for Coach X Gary Baseman's Spring 2015 collection.

"Stuart Vevers’ Spring 2015 collection is a journey across America inspired by vintage road-trip cinema and West Coast subcultures of music, skate and surf. The collection evokes what Vevers has described as “a sense of everydayness, twisted.” Featuring darkly playful creatures from Los Angeles artist Gary Baseman and a palette inspired by the eerie colors of the golden hour before sundown, the collection was filmed in a dreamlike rain shower on the streets of Ditmas Park in Brooklyn, New York."

If you're like me you're going to look very closely and try to find all the Gary Baseman characters... Wouldn't mind getting my hands on one of these pieces... The purses I like with Baseman's character are anywhere from 650-700 dollars. Check out the collection here

The video had a very cool, ethereal, trippy vibe, I could dig it...

Geek Girl Skirts From GoFollowRabbits on Etsy.

1:23:00 PM
Recently I was being my normal self and looking for some fresh and cool gear to add to my wardrobe. I was thinking about something that would embrace my inner geek girl. After roaming a while on the inter-webs I ended up on Etsy as-per-usual and discovered GoFollowRabbits.

It's hard to find a site that seems to carry good quality merchandise with nice prints at a fairly reasonable price considering it's hand made and not mass produced in China. From The Delorean, to Captain America, Alice In Wonderland, Nintendo, Pokemon, Adventure Time, Mario, X-Men, and so much more... here are a few of my favorites.

They pretty much cover comics, video games, TV, and movie culture covered.

These look like they would make awesome gifts for that special girl in your life too. Did I mention the store has some great reviews too?

Shop HERE. They also just launched their own website which you can check out HERE
