Suicide Squad Movie First Look Cast Photo Revealed.

11:28:00 PM
The Suicide Squad Is Here Kiddies!

David Ayer has blessed us with this goodie tweet. DC comics must be tight Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron is doing so good that they had to hit us with something.

Well this is an interesting group photo ain't it?!  I love how Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn is totally standing out. She's definitely in character in this photo. Here we see Adam Beach as Slipknot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara (kneeling) as Katana, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Will Smith as Deadshot, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, and Jay Hernandez as El Diablo.

I think so far so good. Any thoughts? I'm even liking Cara Delevingne as Enchantress. I'm a fan of miss Delevingne on the fashion runways so hopefully she impresses me here too.

Thank goodness I heard that the Jared Leto tattooed Joker look isn't going down. Honestly, that shit looked terrible with those tattoos. Plus I really like Jared Leto so I don't want to be unhappy with the characters look.

Netflix Favorites For April 2015.

11:29:00 PM
Because everyone needs a movie night...

I was roaming Netflix the other day and bumped into some pretty awesome movies that brought back great memories... you know, the kind of film you just always remember.

Anyway I thought I'd make a short list of some recommendations I had for this month just in case you haven't watched them already.

1) The Devil's Rejects - House of 1,000 Corpse to be continued... and then you have THIS. I'm actually a fan of most Rob Zombie Films (some are even too intense for me). If sick, twisted and dark horror is something you're into, than this is for you! Plus who doesn't love lil ol' Sheri Moon Zombie as 'Baby'? "Chinese, Japanese, dirty knees, look at these!"

 2) Bebe's Kids- When I was younger I watched this movie time after time after time. Robin Falls in love with Jamika but he was to deal with her crazy ass 4 kids. It's a really cute classic. You have to watch this movie at least once in your life. Bebe's kids don't die, they multiply!

3)Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood- Hahaha this movie is just too much. I believe this was the Waynes Brothers first parody movie. If you have even one ounce of 'Hood' in you, street smarts, or just enjoy a urban comedy that makes fun of gangs and racial statistics, than this is for you. "Recruiter: Well, I see your hobbies include "drinkin', smokin' weed, and all types of ill shit."

4)Natural Born Killers- Ummm can you say relationship goals? One of my favorites from Quentin Tarantino. But really, Mickey and Mallory Knox are crazy twisted in love and take on the road and a life of crime. This movie is magic. "You know the only thing that kills the demon... is love".

5)Cujo- Don't let the Netflix rating fool you. This is a cult classic based on a Stephen King novel. Imagine your cute lil doggy, you know, mans best friend and all going bat-shit crazy? I never thought I could be scared of a dog. "Terror has a new name".

6)Pulp Fiction- Another work of art by Quentin Tarantino. Also, the movie that first got me to love Uma Thurman. It's like a game of connect the dots all the way through. "And you will know I AM THE LORD when I lay my vengeance upon you"

 7) Cool World- Even though I still like Who Framed Roger Rabbit more... Cool World is still a must see just because. Reasons I can't explain... you just have to watch it once in your lifetime. It's Brad Pitt and cartoons, what do you have to lose. Plus Holli Would voiced by Kim Basinger is a total fox. Sneaky and hot.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this short list and find something you'll enjoy in it. Toodles!

Pride and Prejudice Zombies Coming At Ya February 2016.

1:10:00 PM
Pretty much anything gets zombified now-a-days right?

All you literature and zombie buffs are going to love this! Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is being zombified and will be hitting theaters February 2016.Well it's actually an adaptation from Seth Grahame-Smith’s 'Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' parody from 2009. It's a mashup combining Jane Austen's classic novel (1813) and well... ZOMBIES. It will be directed by Burr Steers.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies will star Lily James as Elizabeth, Bella Heathcote as Jane, Ellie Bamber as Lydia, Millie Brady as Mary, Suki Waterhouse and more.

The book is about a woman’s journey towards love and then BOOM! There's an outbreak of a deadly virus that turns the undead into vicious killers! Sounds dreamy doesn't it? I'm really looking forward to this. I feel like it's going to be awesome and has a great cast.

What do you guys think?

Friday Horror: Sleepaway Camp.

1:36:00 PM
What The F*ck Did I Just Watch?

I just saw the horror movie Sleepaway Camp (1983) for the first time ever last night directed by Robert Hiltzik. First off, I don't want to give away too much about the movie... but the ending/last scene is EVERYTHING. It makes the whole movie worth it and it's makes you re-think the whole movie in a matter of seconds.

At first I thought, this is just another one of your slasher camp movies from the 80s probably trying to bite off the whole 'Friday The 13th' vibe. Seems like making horror movies in the 80s was a quick way to make a buck, but this is just... different?

Felissa Rose gave an excellent performance as Angela... but the whole movie was fucking bizarre (I just can't seem to stop saying it). Seriously, I really mean bizarre.  You're either going to love it or hate it. To make a long story short... Camp Arawak is a place you don't want to be. Before I keep ranting, let me give you a brief summary via IMDB.

"Slightly traumatized and painfully shy Angela Baker is sent away to summer camp with her cousin. Not long after Angela's arrival, things start to go horribly wrong for anyone with sinister or less than honorable intentions."

You may think this movie sounds utterly predictable but it's not, I promise. It's an 80s horror flick with a massive twist unlike any I've seen.

Funny how horror movies in the 80s have similar qualities right? Massive cursing from teenagers, story lines about sexual repression/sexual molestation and harasment, being picked on and being the outsider, terrible parent or family members who fuck up your whole brain and make you want to wreak havoc, the worst camp counselors in the world... This were all qualities seen time after time in horror movies in the 80's... You don't really see them displayed the same way in movies now-a-days...

I think everyone should see this movie 100%. Even if you hate it, it's a life experience. That last scene is definitely the pay off, but you have to sit through the whole thing to feel rewarded. The last scene is so horrific, so way out of left field that you never see it coming.

It's some scary shit, you can watch the movie in it's entirety on YouTube HERE

After you've seen this movie and have taken a moment to reflect on the madness, you can check out this rad podcast with Paul Scheer, June Diane Raphael, Jason Mantzoukas "Sleepaway Camp - How did this get made?". They literally tear the movie apart and do a very in depth analysis.

Enjoy kids, Let me know how it goes.

The NECA Toys 'Home Alone' Mystery at Toy Fair 2015.

12:02:00 AM
Guys, you're totally teasing me here!

Seeing this wall empty had us all like

Where are the NECA toys Home Alone sculpts? We're all curious. I read a few lucky fans got a sneak peek. I mean, you could have at least left a little accessory laying around :(

NECA says fans who got a sneak peek were blown away by the portraits and the A++ accessories too. Everything sounds so promising and there's a lot of excitement and chit-chat on the interwebs about this... After all, Home Alone is an absolute classic and an insanely loved holiday movie. I don't think I know one single person who doesn't watch Home Alone during the holidays. We all adore Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) and the McCallister Clan. We even enjoy watching Harry Lime (Joe Pesci) and Marv Merchants (Daniel Stern)

NECA tweeted that they're releasing the figures this holiday for the Home Alone 25th anniversary.

Can't wait to see! Hopefully I'll have more updates soon.

New Trailer For Horror Movie 'Crimson Peak'.

12:21:00 PM
OH.MY.GOD.

I don't know what to be more excited about... The 'Crimson Peak' trailer looks sick! My inner movie critic soul awakens in excitement to see a new film by Guillermo del Toro and my inner geek/smitten girl awakens to see both Tom Hiddleston (which I loved in Thor) and Charlie Hunnam (which I loved in Undeclared and don't get me started on Sons of Anarchy) sharing the big screen. The cast is absolutely kick ass with ladies Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska as well.

'Ghost Are Real'. Gothic vibes, haunted mansion, spirits, victorian fashion/attire, hot men in top hats, corsets & leather... yes, yes and YES.

Crimson Peak Plot:

"In the aftermath of a family tragedy, an aspiring author is torn between love for her childhood friend and the temptation of a mysterious outsider. Trying to escape the ghosts of her past, she is swept away to a house that breathes, bleeds...and remembers."

Check out the trailer below... Absolutely looking forward to this movie. The trailer made my day and increased my excitement to see the film by 487487857908257283782 %

Peep the movie poster too. LOVE it.

2 Movies I'm Excited To See So Far In 2015.

3:35:00 PM
I've been really picky with my choices of movies I pay to see lately...

The theatre is so pricy these days. Besides the price, you usually always have some creep talking or obnoxiously laughing behind you, someone kicking your chair, a baby crying, or some bullshit going down. If I'm coughing up anywhere around 25-30 bucks a pop it better be worth it.

A lot of movies are so "Meh" now-a-days. All these either paranormal/horror movies (OMG the doll, it's alive!) or the Taken type of movies (seriously, who are they taking next Liam!?) or the I'm coming back from war movies (but WAIT there's one last attack I must overcome.) Can someone please tell me what's up with the space movies lately?! I saw Gravity and after sitting there for 91 minutes I wanted to pull my eyes out with my own bare hands just so I can stuff them in my ears ( I liked Interstellar way more, was intrigued by the time travel) maybe the space movies aren't for everyone...

Anyways, these are just my personal opinions based on what I like to see. Here are the trailers of 2 films I'm excited to see soon.

The Voices
Released February 6 2015

"Likeable Jerry (Ryan Reynolds) stumbles innocently into the role of a killer, guided along the way by his evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog."

This movie's unconventional and there's talking pets and human deceased heads! Ryan Reynolds also does the voice for both the dog and cat too which is pretty cool because I didn't know he had such range. The movie seems all sorts of kooky so I'm really excited about it.  A horror/comedy/thriller, love it!

Then we have CHAPPIE.
Released March 6 2015

"After being kidnapped by two criminals during birth, Chappie becomes the adopted son in a strange and dysfunctional family. Chappie is preternaturally gifted, one of a kind, a prodigy. He also happens to be a robot."

I like watching movies where robots aren't controlled by humans but have their own emotions and learn how to interact. Chappie seems like it has a pretty solid cast starring Hugh Jackman and Sigourney Weaver. I also has Yolandi Visser and Ninja from Die Antwoord (which I've seen live front row and are awesome) so that should make the film a little cooler too. Chappie himself seems like a fine...Chap?

Hope both these films rock! What are you excited to see soon?
